Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ.
And He will reign forever and ever.
The shadow system aims to bring in Jesus’ Government on this earth.
Revelation book is full of incidents which is going to happen in future.
Rev. 12 starts with a vision which speaks about the Church and its role in bringing the Kingdom of the Lord on earth.
Let us meditate on this.
Rev 12:1-3
And there appeared a great sign in the heavens, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head,
Rev 12:2 and having a babein womb, she cries, being in travail, having been distressed to bear. Rev 12:3 And another sign was seen in the heavens. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.
Woman, Child, Agony, Dragon
Revelation 12 is a reflection of Gen chapter 3.er 3.
The main 4 metaphors used here:-
Woman, travail, Man child & Dragon .
The seed of the woman mentioned in Genesis 3
. The travail of birth is in Gen 3,
Serpent which appears in Gen is pictured as the dragon.
Putting these portions together = Woman in Rev 12 is the woman whom God purposed in His eternal will.
Woman-The Church
1. The woman was clothed with the sun – . The sun the Lord Jesus – When the sun shines the brightest, it is shining upon her. In this present age of Grace , God is revealing Himself through her.
2. The woman had the moon underneath her feet. The moon is subject at her feet. The light of the moon is a reflecting light; The moon underneath the feet of the woman means that all things pertaining to the age of Law are subordinate to her.
3. The woman had a crown of twelve stars upon her head. The chief figures in the age of the patriarchs were from the time of Abraham to the twelve tribes. The crown of twelve stars upon her head speaks of her relationship to the age of the patriarchs.
THE BIRTH OF THE MAN-CHILD
Revelation 12:2 says, “And she was with child, and she cried out, travailing in birth and being in pain to bring forth.”
A child is in the mother’s womb, and the child & the mother are united in one body.
Mother = Church. Child = the group of overcomers which the Church should bring forth.
Child is also different from the mother; he is another being. His future is entirely distinct from that of his mother. Overcomers will be entirely distinct from the ordinary believers.
While the woman is with child, all that can be seen is the mother; the child is hidden. The overcomers cannot be seen outside. They are silent, inside the Church without any separate identity .
Dragon
Rev 12:3 “And another sign was seen in heaven; and behold, there was a great red dragon.
That serpent which appeared in Gen 3 after several thousand years, has been enlarged to become a dragon. It has seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns upon its heads.
The heads signify the authority to decide – the horns signify the authority to execute.
Verse 4 “And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, so that when she brings forth he might devour her child.”
Here is a woman whom God has purposed in His will and a man-child whom He desires to obtain.
Man Child
The dragon is hindering what God is after in the woman. The dragon knows that this woman is about to bear a man-child: therefore, it stands before the woman and waits to devour her child as soon as she delivers. Verse 5 says, “And she brought forth a son, a man-child.” The dragon will do anything in his power to hinder us from becoming overcomers.

The man-child is the “brothers” in verse 10 and “they” in verse 11.
Hence the man-child is not a single individual, but a composition of many persons – the overcomers who comes in Rev chapters 2 &3. All of these persons added together become the man-child. In comparison with the mother, the man-child appears to be small. When the group is compared with the whole, their number is in the minority.
Man Child – shepherds the Nations with iron rod
Rev 12:5 And she bore a son, a male, who is going to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
This speaks of the millennial kingdom.
The man child – the overcomers = the instrument that enables God to achieve His purpose.
The book of Revelation mentions shepherding “the nations with an iron rod” 3 times.
Rev. 2:26-27 says, “And he who overcomes and he who keeps My works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; and he will shepherd them with an iron rod.” – refers to the overcomers in the church.
There is war in heaven
Immediately after the man child is caught up, there is war in heaven. (Rev. 12:4)
The cause of the war is the rapture of the man child.
Man child – not a single individual- a collective body of overcomers, brings an end to the war which goes on for ages and generations on the earth.
Dragon’s defeat – the outcome of the war- It is cast down from heaven – yet to happen.
The overthrow of satan – our work-
With this this Age ends.
The key to success -> the rapture of the man child -> war in heaven-> satan cast out from heaven.
The work of the overcomers – to bring God’s Kingdom on earth
Rev 12:5 “And her child was caught up to God and to His throne.”.
The Head of the church is already on the throne
.
God’s purpose – not just to have one man upon the throne, but many upon the throne – the throne of authority
God desires Christ & the church together bring His purpose to fulfilment.
Majority of the people in the church at that time will still not be able to attain the throne. Only a minority, the overcomers, can go to the throne of God.
They will be caught up to His throne because they will achieve God’s purpose.
Casting out demons – Not only confronting satan but casting out all the power and work of satan on earth –
Lay hold of the authority of the Lord and stand in your position.
Each SMP should cast out the authority and power of demons from his constituency – As we go on doing it, satan will be cast out completely from India and other Nations.
Redemption- Christ’s solution for the fall
Kingdom- Church’s solution for the fall.
Our work – To overthrow satan.
God to end this age needs overcomers.
Satan already judged by redemption.
Punishment to be executed by the kingdom.
It is the work of the overcomers – To bring in God’s Kingdom.
Satan- cast down from heaven –
We Church cast out demons.
Satan to be subdued many times in the name of Jesus.
